RLN London, London's language skills: a vision for London 2012

One of RLN London's key aims is to promote to employers the value of language service provision, by qualified professionals. We do this by working with the organisations that support private providers, and you can find out more about these along with other support and advice on our professional support page. RLN London runs a search facility called Service Finder to help providers including translators, interpreters, language trainers, cultural consultants, localisation specialists and recruitment agencies connect with employers and individuals in the capital. Language Trends 2005: a survey of BLIS Professionals providers

The survey of language and cultural service providers was carried out by CILT, the National Centre for Languages in spring 2005, by means of a questionnaire sent via e-mail to all registered BLIS Professionals providers based in the UK and with an e-mail address. 150 responses were received, representing 16% of the sample.
