Introduction to customer care for bilingual Londoners4 November 2008 to 5 February 2009 This programme by Making Training Work will combine short courses in Customer Service, Food Safety, First Aid, Health & Safety, along with a comprehensive language support and employability section. Those attending are also offered the chance to participate in a work placement at various London tourist attractions. This is ideal for people who wish to use their languages as well as English to work in the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors. This programme will run from 4 November 2008 to 5 February 2009. It will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Hanbury Street near Brick Lane. Interviews will be held in October. Community Languages teaching assistant training course (Level 2)Various dates This fully funded, 22-week course, supported by the London Development Agency, Jobcentre Plus and NCFE, can help to develop your career in education. Those from any background are welcome, although trainees who speak a second language are particularly encouraged. To join the course which is delivered by Twin Training across London, you must be currently unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week. |
