Business Language ChampionsInspiring young people to embrace language learning
We work with CILT, the National Centre for Languages (who co-ordinate the national programme), Comenius London and Education Business Partnerships across the Capital to make this happen. Businesses have benefited from press coverage, development of their staff and added value to their CSR programme. Schools have seen students' interest in languages positively transformed. We've created a range of case studies to demonstrate just what your school or business could get out of it If you would like to find out more about our programme, don’t hesitate to contact the Business Language Champions organiser. Case studies from throughout the UKView case studies by sector: Consultancy “Languages are very useful and helpful when going to apply for jobs because businesses value those who have different language skills. For example, working as a translator will give a great benefit to the clients and also provide service at the same time.” Linh,Year 10, Blackheath Bluecoats School “It would be even better if we always go on trips to do with languages, because if we do not, and see how language really affects business, then we would be put off. So it is better to go on constructive and educative trips such as the one we went on.” Pamela, Year 10, Blackheath Bluecoats School |
